WorkMagic’s Conversion API Enhancer lets you send enriched, WorkMagic-attributed events directly to your connected ad platforms — including Axon (formerly AppLovin). This helps improve event match quality and campaign optimization by using more precise, incrementality-calibrated conversion data.
Note: Axon CAPI integration is currently in Beta and requires manual enablement. Please contact your WorkMagic Customer Success Manager to activate it for your account.

Step-by-Step: How to Set Up Axon CAPI
Follow the steps below to configure Axon CAPI inside WorkMagic:
Step 1 - Enable Axon Integration
Go to Settings > Conversion API Enhancer.
Find the Axon card.
Click Connect to start the integration process.
Step 2 - Enter Required Settings
After clicking Configure, fill out the form:

Account ID | Yes | Get this from your Axon account. |
Event | Yes | Only Purchase is currently supported. |
Attribution Model | Auto-filled | Fixed to Any Click model — used to optimize with WorkMagic-calibrated data. |
Note: Attribution model is locked and cannot be changed due to AppLovin only supporting campaign optimization of any click model.
Click Save and enable to activate the connection.
Platform Status States Explained
The Axon integration tile may show different states. Here's what each means:
State | Indicator | Description | Action Required |
Not connected | Grey dot | Axon is not linked yet. | Click Connect. |
Connected | Green dot | Integration successful and active. | No action. |
Incomplete settings | Orange dot | Some required fields are missing. | Click Configure and complete setup. |
Invalid setup | Red warning | Submitted values are incorrect (e.g., Pixel ID/Account ID mismatch). | Double-check IDs, then re-save. |
Need reconnection | Orange dot | Authorization may have expired. | Reconnect Axon. |
Step 3 - Delivery Insights
Once Axon CAPI is active, you can monitor event flow via the Delivery status tab:

Step 4 - After Successful Setup
Wait 2 weeks for stable data flow.
Make sure your feed is stable for at least 2 weeks before initiating testing.
Then contact your Axon representative to enable A/B testing using WorkMagic CAPI data.
