Top Performing Page
The Top Performing tab showcases your highest-performing creatives for the selected date range and platform.
Overview Section
Provides a snapshot of overall campaign health:
Metric | Description | Insight & Action |
Ad Spend | Total amount spent across all ads | Monitor spend changes. Rising spend with low ROAS? Re-evaluate budget allocation. |
Average CPC | Cost per click | A rising CPC may indicate creative fatigue or poor targeting. Consider testing new copy or audiences. |
Average CTR | Click-through rate (clicks ÷ impressions) | Low CTR? Improve thumbnail, primary text, or CTA clarity. High CTR? Scale that creative. |
Average ROAS | Revenue return for every $1 spent | Use this to assess efficiency. ROAS falling? Consider pausing low-performing creatives. |
Active Creatives | Number of creatives served | More creatives can improve freshness but hurt spend consolidation. Balance is key. |

Add Filter Features
The Add Filter feature lets you apply powerful logic to surface exactly the creatives you want to analyze — whether you’re seeking top performers, underachievers, or creatives at risk of fatigue. With presets, trend-based, threshold-based, and attribute-based filters, you can move from observation to action in seconds.
Available Presets
WorkMagic provides ready-to-use filtering presets that save time and spotlight meaningful trends.
Actionable Tips: You can also edit the preset, build your own presets, or build your own custom filters.
Preset | Definition | What You’ll See | Actionable Next Step |
Scaling | Creatives with rising ad spend | Ads with ≥10% spend increase over prior period | Consider increasing budget or duplicating for testing in new audiences |
Declining | Creatives with decreasing spend | Ads with ≥10% spend drop | Investigate performance or budget allocation reasons |
Fatigue | Declining CTR trend | Ads with ≥10% CTR drop | Refresh visuals or messaging, or pause the ad |
Winning | High ROAS + significant spend | Ads with >$500 spend and ROAS >4 (editable) | Identify evergreen creatives and scale across campaigns |
Why it matters: These presets surface insights based on real behavioral trends, not just static performance snapshots.
Trend-Based Rules
Trend-based rules detect changes over time by comparing a metric’s current value to the previous period.
Available Parameters:
Ad Spend
Impressions
Clicks
Video Views (Complete, 25th/50th/75th percentile)
CTR (Click-Through Rate)
CPC (Cost per Click)
ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)
Etc. (scroll down to see more metrics)
Example:
Trend-Based Rule:
CTR decreased by at least 10% → Flags creative fatigue or market saturation
Use this when: You want to proactively identify trending declines or growth, not just snapshots.
Threshold-Based Rules
Threshold-based rules allow you to filter for creatives that meet or fall below specific numeric values.
Available Metrics:
Ad Spend
Impressions
Clicks
Video Views
CTR, CPC, CPM
ROAS
Conversion & Attribution metrics (Sales, Orders)
Etc. (scroll down to see more metrics)
Example:
Threshold-Based Rule:
ROAS > 4 and Ad Spend > $500 → Surfaces efficient, high-budget creatives ("Winning")
Use this when: You want to isolate top or bottom performers based on hard performance numbers.
Attribute-Based Rules
These rules filter based on metadata such as campaign naming, ad structure, and status.
Parameters:
Campaign Name
Ad Set/Group Name
Ad Name
Ad Status (e.g., Active, Paused)
Example:
Attribute-Based Rule:
Campaign name contains “retargeting” → Review creative performance within retargeting campaigns specifically
Use this when: You want to focus your analysis on specific campaign types or naming conventions.
How to Combine Filters
Filters are modular, meaning you can:
Combine multiple rules across trend, threshold, and attribute layers
Use AND / OR logic within filter blocks
Mix presets with custom criteria
Example:
To find creatives that are scaling but with declining CTR, you might set:
Trend: Ad Spend ↑ by 10%
Trend: CTR ↓ by 10%
AND Logic: Combine to flag potential inefficiencies
Strategic Use Cases
Goal | Filter Strategy |
Spot top creatives to scale | Preset: Winning or set ROAS > 3 + Spend > $1,000 |
Detect creative fatigue | CTR trend ↓ 10% + Video completion ↓ 10% |
Validate new ad concepts | Filter ads active ≤ 7 days with early CTR signals |
Audit campaign types | Attribute filter: Campaign name includes “brand”, “retargeting”, etc. |
Pro Tips
Use trend filters weekly to catch rising stars or declining assets early.
Use threshold filters for end-of-month cleanup or budget reallocation.
Pair attribute filters with performance metrics to improve creative strategy by audience or funnel stage.
Sorting Features
Use the Sort By dropdown to reorder creatives by the metric you selected in metrics setting (default to Ad Spend and ROAS):
Ad Spend (High to Low, Low to High)
ROAS (High to Low, Low to High)
Actionable Tip:
You can sort by other metrics by selecting other metrics on Metrics Settings selections
Metrics Settings
Customize your dashboard via the Metrics Settings panel. You can select up to:
6 metrics for Card View
Bar and line view can display only 2 metrics. The first 2 metrics selected will be displayed
Actionable Tip:
Track Complete Video Views to evaluate storytelling effectiveness. Pair with CTR to assess correlation between video depth and action.
