Yes! WorkMagic allows you to define highly targeted audience segments by combining multiple attributes. You can use Audience Segment Groups, AND / OR logic, and Audience Size Estimation to refine and customize your audience.
1. Audience Segment Groups
Audience Segment Groups allow you to categorize users based on different sets of rules. Each group represents a different condition that a user must meet to be included in the segment.
For example:
Group 1: Users with an AOV (Average Order Value) above $50 in the last 90 days.
Group 2: Users who have made more than 2 purchases in the last 30 days.
By using multiple groups, you can segment users based on different behaviors and characteristics to create more refined targeting strategies.
2. AND / OR Logic for Audience Segment Rules
When defining an audience segment, you can apply AND / OR logic to rules, either within the same group or between different groups.
2.1. AND / OR Rules Within the Same Group
AND Logic: All conditions must be met for a user to be included in the segment.
Example: Users who made a purchase AND have an AOV above $50.
OR Logic: A user needs to meet at least one condition.
Example: Users who made a purchase OR initiated checkout.
2.2. AND / OR Rules Between Different Groups
You can create separate groups and define whether a user needs to qualify for one or multiple groups to be included in the segment.
This is useful for complex segmentation, such as combining demographic data with purchasing behavior.
For example:
Group 1: Users who made a purchase AND have an AOV above $50.
Group 2: Users who live in California OR New York.
If the condition is AND, only users who meet both Group 1 and Group 2 conditions will be included.
If the condition is OR, users meeting either Group 1 or Group 2 conditions will be included.
3. Audience Size Estimation
As you define your segment, WorkMagic.io provides a segment estimation to help you gauge the audience size before finalizing it.
Segment size: The estimated number of users who meet the defined criteria.
Avg. orders: The average number of purchases per user in this segment.
Avg. revenue: The estimated revenue per user in the segment.
This estimation updates dynamically as you adjust filters and rules, allowing you to fine-tune your targeting for maximum impact.
