Managing the sections on the overview page

The Overview Page is customizable, allowing you to add, remove, reorder, toggle, and rename sections to display the most relevant data for your business. Below are the steps to manage sections effectively.

1. Adding new sections

You can create custom sections to organize your metrics based on your preferences.

  1. Click on the Edit Sections button at the top-right of the Overview Page.

  2. Select "Create new" from the dropdown.

  3. Enter a Section Name.

  4. Choose the metrics you want to include by selecting from the available list.

  5. Click Create, and the new section will appear on your Overview Page.

2. Removing Sections

If a section is no longer needed, you can remove it to declutter your dashboard. Removing unused sections can help keep your Overview Page clean and organized. You can only remove the custom sections, not the pre-defined sections.

Steps to Remove a Section:

  1. Click on Edit Sections.

  2. Select "Manage" to view all existing sections.

  3. Find the section you want to remove.

  4. Click on the trash icon next to the section.

  5. Choose Delete on the popup window.

  6. The section has been successfully removed.

3. Re-order the sections

Rearrange sections to prioritize the most important data. This feature allows you to place high-priority sections at the top for quick access.

  1. Click Edit Sections > Manage.

  2. Hover over the drag handle (⋮⋮) next to a section.

  3. Click and drag the section to the desired position.

  4. Release to save the new order.

  5. Click Apply to confirm changes.

4. Toggle the sections

You can enable or disable sections without deleting them. Disabling a section will hide it from the Overview Page but will allow you to enable it again later.

  1. Click Edit Sections > Manage.

  2. Locate the section you want to toggle.

  3. Use the toggle switch to enable or disable the section.

  4. Click Apply to confirm changes.

5. Renaming the Sections

You can rename sections to better categorize your metrics. Use custom names to make sections more intuitive and relevant to your tracking needs.

Steps to Rename a Section:

  1. Click Edit Sections > Manage.

  2. Find the section you want to rename.

  3. Click the edit (✏️) button next to the section.

  4. Enter the new section name.

  5. Click Save to apply changes.
